Planning for your financial future is admittedly not one of the first things you think of doing when you wake up in the morning.  Unfortunately, we are usually only prompted to start when we have something major in our lives impact us enough to make it a priority.  It is my job to make your financial future my daily priority.

Since the beginning of my career as a financial consultant in early 2001 I have helped many individuals and business owners grow and protect their wealth, families and employees.  It is my mission to learn about each of my client’s personal goals, hopes and dreams and build a customized plan to put them on track toward accomplishing those goals.  Our elite team has members who focus their careers in the areas of:

         1.  Retirement planning

2.  Estate planning strategies

3.  Income distribution planning

4.  Asset management

5.  Risk management

6.  College education funding

7.  Employee benefits

8.  Business planning

There is no financial area listed we do not cover without a high level of competency.

In 2011 I was appointed Divisional Vice President of AXA Advisors Southwest branch, located in Scottsdale, AZ, and tasked with the responsibility of growing and managing a team of associates.  Part of the responsibility involves recruiting highly talented individuals and mentoring them to build there own financial practices.  If you or someone you know is looking to begin a career in financial services and is highly talented please contact me to learn more about a potential opportunity.

My website contains many useful calculators and planning tools.  The newsletters and information are constantly being updated so please bookmark the site and check back often for updates.

Investing in the Future

Due to the fiscal struggles of state governments, in-state tuition and fees at public four-year colleges and universities rose dramatically for the 2011-12 school year. The cost of private institutions also continues to increase. This article presents information on the cost of a college education and how a 529 plan may be a helpful savings vehicle.

Favorable Dividend and Capital Gains Tax Rates Extended—for Now

The 2010 Tax Relief Act extended the 15% maximum tax rates on qualified dividends and long-term capital gains through December 31, 2012. But without further legislation, dividends will be taxed at ordinary income tax rates and capital gains tax rates will return to 20% (23.8% for investors in the two highest tax brackets) in 2013.

Are Consumers Holding the Keys to a Better Economy?

Consumer spending still accounts for about 70% of gross domestic product, but some government statistics suggest that consumers may have reduced spending drastically in recent years, especially on discretionary items. High unemployment, household debt, and a general lack of confidence can affect consumers' ability and willingness to spend.
